Tomasz Kaczmarski

Tomasz Kaczmarski, aged 40 and residing on High Street in Evesham, Worcestershire, appeared at Worcester Magistrates' Court on 10th April 2024, where he pleaded guilty to possessing and making 3,080 indecent photographs or pseudo-photographs of children.

The offences occurred between 2022 and 2023. On 29th June 2023, police officers from West Mercia Police conducted a search of Kaczmarski's premises in Evesham. Although he was not at home at the time, he was subsequently contacted and fully cooperated with the investigation. Officers seized computers and mobile phones from the address, and Kaczmarski provided all necessary passwords without resistance.

Examination of the devices revealed a large collection of indecent images depicting girls aged between 7 and 16. Kaczmarski's search history included disturbing terms such as 'young girls', 'underage jailbait', and 'pre-teen', indicating deliberate efforts to access such material. He required the assistance of a translator during court proceedings.

The case was deemed too serious for the Magistrates' Court and was committed to Worcester Crown Court for sentencing on 16th May 2024. Kaczmarski's early guilty plea at the first available opportunity is expected to be taken into account by the Crown Court judge, potentially mitigating his sentence. In the interim, he was released on unconditional bail but must register as a sex offender at Worcester Police Station within three days and notify authorities of any changes to his address. The court also ordered a pre-sentence report to inform the upcoming hearing.

This case highlights ongoing efforts by West Mercia Police to combat child sexual exploitation in the region, with Kaczmarski's actions contributing to the demand for such abusive material.
