Full Description

A 33-year-old man from Bursledon, Hampshire, has been handed six life sentences following his conviction for serious child sex offences. Kieran Bond, residing on Oak Road, was found guilty after a trial at Southampton Crown Court in July 2025. The sentencing took place at the same court on 29 September 2025.

The offences, which involved the rape of young children, occurred between 2018 and 2021 in the Eastleigh area. Specifically, Bond was convicted on four counts of rape of a boy aged under 13 and two counts of rape of a girl aged under 13. These heinous acts were carried out against very young victims, highlighting the severity and predatory nature of the crimes.

In addition to his imprisonment, Bond has been placed on the sex offenders register and subjected to restraining orders to prevent further harm. The case was investigated by the Child Abuse Investigation Team of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, who praised the courage of the victims and their families.

Detective Sergeant Heather Tack, of the Child Abuse Investigation Team, commented on the outcome: 'I’d like to place on record my praise and admiration for the very young victims in this case and the courage and determination they have shown throughout, supported by their family members. While I know this result won’t rid the victims and their family members of the memories of what Bond did, I truly hope it allows them to move forward, safe in the knowledge that he is now being punished for his crimes and can no longer repeat his offending.' The investigation was led by DC Dawn Capper, who worked to secure justice for the victims and protect other children.

This sentencing serves as a stark reminder of the constabulary's commitment to tackling child sex offences, with Detective Sergeant Tack emphasising: 'This case should also be a very clear message to other offenders out there that we will always work tirelessly to ensure you are brought to justice for your crimes, no matter when they took place.' The case was reported via the official Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary news page.
