David Charles Tomlinson, a 50-year-old man from Winshill in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for committing serious sexual offences against a child. Tomlinson pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child under 13, taking indecent photographs of a child, and false imprisonment at Stafford Crown Court.

The crimes took place in April 2021, when Tomlinson targeted and assaulted a young victim, subjecting them to sexual abuse and capturing indecent images.
