Offence Summary

Angel Fuller was jailed for aiding and abetting the rape of a child and arranging the commission of a child sex offence, after conspiring with Tristan Goodwin to target and introduce him to vulnerable child victims.

Full Description

Angel Fuller, a 19-year-old woman from Churchill Avenue in Chatham, Kent, has been imprisoned for four and a half years for her role in child sex offences that took place between May 2021 and January 2022. Fuller conspired with Tristan Goodwin to facilitate the sexual abuse of young, vulnerable victims, receiving payment from Goodwin to introduce him to the children he targeted. Her actions were integral to the exploitation scheme uncovered by Kent Police during their investigation.

Fuller pleaded guilty at Maidstone Crown Court to charges of aiding and abetting the rape of a child and arranging the commission of a child sex offence. While Goodwin carried out the direct abuses, Fuller's involvement enabled these crimes by connecting him with the victims, demonstrating a collaborative effort to perpetrate harm against children. The court heard details of how this partnership preyed on the vulnerabilities of the young individuals involved.

Fuller has been placed on the sex offenders register for life and made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order to mitigate future risks. Speaking on the case, Detective Constable Grant Broad of Kent Police remarked: 'Goodwin and Fuller worked together to target young, vulnerable victims and their depraved actions will leave a lasting impact on the victims' lives. I wish to commend the courage of these vulnerable victims in supporting this investigation and ensuring a dangerous predator has been held to account for his appalling actions.' The victims' bravery was pivotal in bringing Fuller and her accomplice to justice.

Prosecuted through HM Courts & Tribunals Service with evidence from Kent Police, this case illustrates the severe consequences of aiding child sexual exploitation. Fuller's sentence reflects the court's recognition of her active participation in facilitating these grave offences, aimed at safeguarding society from further harm.
