David Warman

David Warman, a 40-year-old resident of Norwich, has admitted to serious sexual offences involving the possession and creation of indecent images of children. He pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children, as well as possession of a prohibited image of a child, with authorities confirming he had more than 900 such images in his possession.

The case came before Norwich Crown Court, where Warman was scheduled for sentencing on Wednesday, 14 January 2025. However, he failed to appear for the hearing, prompting Judge Katharine Moore to issue a warrant for his arrest. The judge rescheduled the sentencing to Wednesday, 21 January 2025, to allow for Warman's apprehension.

This is not the first time Warman has evaded court proceedings in this matter. He was originally due to be sentenced in March 2024 but did not attend, claiming to his solicitors that he was en route to the hospital. The court adjourned the hearing at that time after learning that Warman had also missed a pre-sentence report appointment due to confusion over the timing.

The offences relate to child sex abuse material, highlighting the severity of Warman's actions in possessing and potentially distributing prohibited content. Norfolk Police investigated the case, leading to Warman's charges.
