Raj Garewal, 58, from Marston Road, Oxford, was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman whilst she slept in Buckinghamshire. The opportunistic attack exploited the victim's unconscious state.

Thames Valley Police investigated the incident, using CCTV and witness accounts to identify Garewal. On 2 September 2022, he was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail at Aylesbury Crown Court.

The Bucks Free Press listed this case among Buckinghamshire sex offences since 2020, stressing the violation of personal safety. Court proceedings revealed the assault's premeditated nature, with the sentencing reflecting the need for deterrence.
