Sarah Johnson, aged 57 and residing at Tintagel Close, Andover, was sentenced at Winchester Crown Court on 13 February 2026 as part of a broader investigation into child sexual exploitation conducted by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary’s Major Crime Team. Johnson had admitted to 18 charges, primarily involving the taking of indecent images of children and their subsequent distribution. Her involvement was uncovered through the examination of devices seized during the probe, which linked her actions to the network of abuse orchestrated by the primary offender.

The offences formed part of a series of crimes that affected multiple victims over an extended period, with evidence retrieved from Johnson's possessions confirming her participation in the creation and sharing of illicit material. At the hearing, she was jailed for 11 years, accompanied by a one-year extended licence period, and placed under indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Orders along with notification requirements.
