A 49-year-old man from Wingerworth, Derbyshire, has been imprisoned for possessing indecent images of children, marking another significant conviction in the region's efforts to combat child sexual exploitation.

Jason McCall, residing at Marlow Court on Derby Road in Wingerworth, was sentenced on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Derby Crown Court by Recorder A Jackson. He received a three-year custodial sentence after pleading guilty to the offences. The charges involved making one category B image, two category A images, and two category C images, all classified as indecent images of children under UK law.
