Bilal Azzi and Tayeb Battaher, also known as Amine Berhe, approached a missing teenage girl pretending concern, but plied her with drink and drugs before sexually abusing her. She was found by police after two women on a hen do recognised her from a missing persons appeal in a takeaway.

The trial at Liverpool Crown Court revealed the coordinated sinister plan. Battaher was convicted of engaging in sexual activity with a child and sentenced alongside Azzi, putting his head in his hands during the hearing.
