Offence Summary

Chase Brocklesby, a rapist from the Boston area, was sentenced to an additional seven years in prison after pleading guilty to a further rape charge involving a different victim.

Full Description

Chase Brocklesby, formerly of the Boston area in Lincolnshire, was imprisoned earlier in 2025 at Lincoln Crown Court for a series of serious offences, including rape, common assault, criminal damage, and dangerous driving. The 28-year-old had initially denied the rape charge but was found guilty following a trial. The original offences occurred in the Boston area during 2023 and 2024.

Subsequently, while already behind bars, Brocklesby faced an additional charge of rape relating to a different victim, stemming from an incident in Boston in 2024. He pleaded guilty to this charge in October 2025. On 5 December 2025, he was sentenced to a further seven years, to be served consecutively to his existing nine-year term, resulting in a total of 16 years imprisonment.

In addition to the custodial sentence, Brocklesby received a restraining order and a sexual harm prevention order, which requires him to declare any new relationships to authorities. The case was handled by Lincolnshire Police, who commended the bravery of the victims in coming forward.

Detective Katherine Brennan of Lincolnshire Police stated: “Brocklesby carried out horrendous crimes and was rightly jailed for his actions, as someone as dangerous as him should not be on our streets. In this circumstance, this latest victim felt safe to come forward as they knew that the suspect was remanded in prison. If it hadn’t been for the bravery of the victim in the first case, this victim may have never taken that step.” She further praised the victims' strength and the work of the Management of Sexual Offenders and Violent Offenders team in preventing future offences.

The offences took place within the United Kingdom, specifically in Lincolnshire, and were prosecuted under English law at Lincoln Crown Court.
