Durham Constabulary investigated the initial rape offences, which involved the sexual assault of a child, leading to Walker's imprisonment. Post-sentencing, her threatening behaviour towards the probation officer handling her case prompted further legal action. Evidence included call logs and recordings presented at Durham Crown Court, revealing explicit threats of violence.

Sentenced on 19 October 2025 for the harassment, the court extended her custodial sentence, with the judge noting, 'Your continued aggression post-conviction shows you remain a danger, particularly given the nature of your original crimes against a child.' This incident highlights challenges in managing high-risk sex offenders in the community.
