A former gym instructor from Burton has been imprisoned for raping a woman on three separate occasions. Braden Rae, aged 44 and now residing in Derbyshire, admitted to three counts of rape at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

The offences occurred in Burton, with two instances taking place in 2014 and the third in 2015. The victim confided in a friend about the assaults before reporting the matter to the police. Rae, who had worked as a gym instructor in the area, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing, leading to his sentencing on 11 June 2020.
