Peter Tanswell

Peter Tanswell, a 69-year-old man from Chard, Somerset, was sentenced at Bristol Crown Court on 14 February 2025 following his conviction for serious sexual offences committed against a young girl in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

The court heard that Tanswell, formerly residing at Bondfield Way in Chard, carried out four counts of indecent assault on a girl who was under the age of 14 at the time.
