Kamran Amin, aged 48, from Halifax, was sentenced for rape in the Calderdale grooming cases, one of twenty men totalling 219 years for child sex offences against four girls from 2001 to 2010. Amin abused a vulnerable girl between 2002 and 2006, starting at 13, under the second 2016 probe.

Conviction came in the October 2022 Bradford Crown Court trial. Announcements followed restriction lift on Wednesday.
