Full Description

Conner Christopher Taylor, 22, formerly of Cemaes Bay and now living near Manchester, has been sentenced to 38 months in prison for sex offences against girls that occurred during a two-week period in an Anglesey village when he was just 14. At Caernarfon Crown Court on April 9, 2018, Judge Huw Rees stated that the offences were so serious they required custody and had left an indelible mark on the victims.

The matters came to light when the two complainants met on holiday, and one revealed the abuse. Taylor had warned one girl not to disclose the incidents, leaving her frightened. North Wales Police prosecuted the case, bringing Taylor to justice years after the crimes.

This sentencing addresses the gravity of juvenile sexual offending and its lasting impact on victims.
