Buruhana Jabang

A 37-year-old man, Buruhana Jabang, has been jailed for nine years following his conviction for a serious sexual assault on a woman in Aberdeen. The incident occurred in the Mastrick area of the city in August 2021, and Jabang was found guilty at the High Court in Aberdeen on 12 February 2025.

The court heard details of the assault, which was described as despicable by investigating officers.
