Full Description

Terri Cook, a 38-year-old teaching assistant, was jailed after grooming and sexually abusing a vulnerable young boy of primary school age. The abuse came to light after a member of the public reported seeing her in the company of the child, prompting a full police investigation.

Officers discovered a significant number of messages on Cook's mobile phone showing that she had been inciting sexual communications with the boy. She was also found to be in possession of indecent images of the child.
