Offence Summary

Luke Williamson groomed two teenage girls in the West Midlands and Hertfordshire using money, alcohol, and false declarations of love to coerce them into sexual activities for his perverse gain. He was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading guilty to 20 child sex offences.

Full Description

Luke Williamson, a 34-year-old man from Bunyan Road in Bedfordshire, targeted two vulnerable teenage girls living in Solihull and Hertfordshire through multiple social media channels. He sent thousands of messages, leading the girls to believe he was in love with them, and manipulated them into complying with his demands for his own perverse sexual gain.

The grooming began with Williamson inquiring about the girls' ages and, upon confirming they were underage, proceeding with inappropriate messaging. He overwhelmed them with attention before requesting favours, such as photographs of their legs and feet, and escalating to phone or video calls. When the girls showed reluctance, Williamson offered money, alcohol, or vapes to coerce them. He then persuaded them to meet in person, travelling long distances from Bedfordshire to the West Midlands and Hertfordshire. On one occasion, he entered a property while the family slept to engage in sexual activity with one of the victims, as detailed by Humberside Police.

Police launched an investigation into Williamson in May 2024 after uncovering the illicit messages, images, and videos he had exchanged with the girls. Even while on remand for a previous investigation, Williamson continued his manipulation by writing letters to one of the girls, making false promises of love. He pleaded guilty to 20 child sex offences in October 2025 and appeared at Hull Crown Court on 23 January 2026, where he was sentenced to eight years in jail.

Detective Inspector Cat Slaughter of Humberside Police described Williamson as 'a very calculated and manipulative man who preyed on vulnerable girls,' noting his consistent methods of grooming. She highlighted the challenges in the case, as the victims were reluctant to fully engage due to the nature of the sexual manipulation, but emphasised the police's commitment to building a strong case against him, recognising him as a high-risk offender posing a serious threat to teenage girls.

Jessica Randell, Senior Crown Prosecutor for CPS Yorkshire and Humberside, stated: 'Luke Williamson repeatedly targeted and groomed young girls before subjecting them to appalling degradation. He treated his victims as sexual objects to be used and discarded, showing a complete disregard for their dignity and wellbeing in doing so.'

The case was investigated by Humberside Police, with the sentencing occurring at Hull Crown Court in the UK, confirming the offences took place within England.
