Full Description

Between 1998 and 2005, a grooming gang in Oxford, including Alladitta Yousaf, systematically abused teenage girls by initially gaining their trust through flattery and providing drugs and alcohol, then enforcing compliance via threats and violence, leading to multiple sexual offences.

Alladitta Yousaf, 48, of Bodley Road, Oxford, was convicted of one count of indecent assault as part of the group's extensive criminal activities. Oxford Crown Court, under Judge Peter Ross, heard how the victims were subjected to a 'campaign of fear and violence,' with abuse becoming the norm. The BBC's reporting on 27 March 2018 detailed the convictions and the scale of the exploitation.

The NSPCC highlighted the victims' determination in overcoming the intimidation to ensure justice. Yousaf's participation in the gang was a key element of the case.
