Dean Hamilton, 47, of St James Square in Butleigh, appeared at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday afternoon, facing one count of rape related to sexual offences against Joanne Young. The charges are linked to events alleged to have occurred between 2010 and 2023.

During the hearing, Hamilton indicated a not guilty plea. The prosecutor, Keith Ballinger, emphasised the inextricable links between all defendants' cases. He was granted bail by Magistrate Martin Clarke, subject to no contact with Ms Young and notification of any address changes to police.
