Offence Summary

Fenton Clapp, a 20-year-old from Tiverton, was jailed for eight years and nine months for sexually assaulting two teenage girls after selling them drugs.

Full Description

Fenton Clapp, a 20-year-old predator from Tiverton, was sentenced to eight years and nine months in prison for a spree of sexual offences against two teenage girls, committed over an 18-month period when he was 18 and 19. He made £800 a day selling ecstasy pills, known as 'pingers', to children in Amory Park.

  • He assaulted a 14-year-old girl after she bought MDMA from him and became intoxicated and barely able to move.
  • He sexually molested a 15-year-old girl after she visited his flat, fell asleep, and woke to find him assaulting her.

The court heard details of his drug dealing to minors, which facilitated the sexual exploitation. Due to the danger he poses to the public, two years and seven months of his sentence must be served on extended licence, as detailed in Devon Live reports.

Clapp's actions left the young victims traumatised, combining drug supply with sexual offences.
