Frederick Graham Barber, 77, of Causeway Crescent, appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court where the court heard that his victim provided a credible and compelling account of the abuse that occurred over four years in the 1980s.

The judge, Huw Rees, described the victim as particularly vulnerable due to her age and stated that Barber's actions constituted persistent sexual abuse to satisfy his perverted sexual lust. Barber showed no emotion as he was led away to begin his sentence on January 5, 2018.
