Mohammed Hassan, 37, of Torun Way in Swindon, faced charges of sexual touching at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday afternoon, related to offences against Joanne Young over the period from 2010 to 2023.

Hassan did not indicate a plea. Prosecutor Keith Ballinger stated the cases were 'inextricably linked.' He was released on bail by Magistrate Martin Clarke, under conditions of no contact with Ms Young and reporting any address changes to police.

The next hearing is at Swindon Crown Court on 23 January 2026. Bristol Live provided coverage, including sketches by court artist Elizabeth Cook. The case is under investigation by Wiltshire Police.
