A man from Blackburn, Lancashire, has been sentenced to prison for distributing child abuse images online. Christopher Hodgson, who admitted to possessing and distributing indecent images of children, was described in court as having an 'addiction to pornography' that led him to engage in the sharing of graphic sexual material involving minors.

The case came to light following an investigation by Lancashire Police, who identified Hodgson as part of a network exchanging child abuse images. Officers raided his home and seized electronic devices containing a significant number of indecent images.
