His offences involved repeated abuse of a vulnerable girl from 2002 to 2006, beginning at age 13, under the second 2016 investigation.

In the second trial starting October 2022 at Bradford Crown Court, Quadeer was convicted and sentenced. Details emerged after restrictions lifted on Wednesday via West Yorkshire Police.

Detective Chief Inspector Claire Smith stated: “The sheer courage of the victims and survivors in each of these investigations.” The trial covered extensive abuse evidence.

Emphasising support, Smith said: “Reports of non-recent abuse are handled by officers who are specially trained in supporting victims.” The case is indicative of organised abuse.
