A man from Garden City has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for a series of violent sexual offences committed against a woman in Flintshire. Dumitru-Robert Lactus, aged 27, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Monday, 29 September 2025, where he was found guilty of multiple charges including rape, assault causing physical harm, intentional suffocation, and threats to kill.
