A man from Slough has been sentenced to six years' imprisonment for committing serious sexual offences against a woman in her twenties. Mohammad Ilyas, aged 24, of Chalvey Park, carried out the attack in March 2021, leading to his arrest and eventual conviction.

The incident occurred in Slough, where Ilyas raped and sexually assaulted the victim. Following the attack, Ilyas was arrested on 4 April 2021 and charged on 27 July 2022. At a hearing on 20 December 2022, he pleaded guilty to two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault by penetration. The sentencing took place on 27 February 2023 at a court in the area, where Judge [name not specified] imposed the six-year custodial sentence. In addition to his imprisonment, Ilyas will be placed on the sex offenders register for life.
