Terrence Malcolm Cadman was jailed for 40 months for sexually abusing a teenage boy more than 15 years ago, consecutive to his existing 15-year sentence.

Full Description

Terrence Malcolm Cadman, 67, formerly of Bangor, has been sentenced to 40 months in prison for repeatedly sexually abusing a teenage boy between January 2002 and March 2004. The abuse has cast a shadow over the victim's entire life, as detailed in court at Caernarfon Crown Court.

Cadman admitted the offences, and Judge Niclas Parry noted the life-changing, considerable, and continuing effect on the victim. This sentence is consecutive to a 15-year term he is already serving from 2015 for abusing three other boys. North Wales Police investigated the historical abuse, leading to Cadman's accountability.

The case reflects the long-term pursuit of justice for victims of child sexual abuse by serial offenders.
