Offence Summary

Kyron Clasper was found in possession of indecent images of children and extreme pornographic material involving animals, having participated in group chats sharing such content and attempting to arrange bestiality encounters.

Full Description

Kyron Clasper, a 23-year-old resident of Sittingbourne, Kent, admitted to possessing and making indecent images of children as well as extreme pornographic images involving bestiality. The case came to light following a police search warrant executed at his home on Rectory Road in December 2022, during which officers seized his hard drive and Samsung tablet. These devices revealed hundreds of videos and images depicting young children in sexual situations, alongside material showing sex acts between humans and animals.

Prosecutor Bridget Todd outlined at Maidstone Crown Court how Clasper was involved in several group chats on the Telegram app, with discussions centred on topics such as 'children', 'pre-teen', 'under 16 girls', 'little girls', and 'school girls'. Messages from his phone showed him communicating with an individual claiming to be a 13-year-old girl, asking if she was 'willing to date older guys' and expressing that he fancied her. Further evidence included messages from 10 November 2022, where Clasper attempted to arrange a meeting at a Sittingbourne hotel for an encounter involving a dog.

Clasper faced three counts of making indecent images of children: the first involving five Category A images (the most serious) and 19 moving images; the second with six Category B images and one video; and the third with one Category C image. The fourth count concerned possession of 170 images and 379 videos of extreme pornography, including human intercourse with a dog. He pleaded guilty to all charges upon appearing in court.

  • Clasper's interest in such material reportedly began after being shown similar content at school.
  • His defence, presented by Amy Nicholson, highlighted that he was 19 or 20 at the time of the offences, lacked maturity, and had suffered trauma from witnessing his father's death in a car crash at age 11.
  • Nicholson noted Clasper's ADHD contributed to his obsessive behaviour and emphasised his remorse and fear of custody.

Recorder Vivian Walters, acknowledging Clasper's previous good character and lack of further trouble since arrest, sentenced him to a two-year community order instead of imprisonment. This included 80 hours of unpaid work, 20 days of rehabilitation activity requirement sessions, and 26 two-hour sessions of an accredited sexual offences programme. Additionally, a five-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order was imposed. The sentencing occurred at Maidstone Crown Court, as reported by KentOnline on 18 November 2025.
