Offence Summary

Elvis Nosakhare, a sex offender from Buckinghamshire, was jailed for six years after abusing a girl he met through her mother on an online dating site. He was convicted of multiple counts of sexual activity with the girl, described as a disgusting betrayal of trust.

Full Description

Elvis Nosakhare, aged 41, from Sheelin Grove in Bletchley, Buckinghamshire, has been sentenced to six years in prison for sexually abusing a young girl. The abuse occurred after Nosakhare met the victim's mother through an online dating platform, gaining access to the family and exploiting his position of trust.

The offences took place in the Thames Valley area, though specific details regarding the location and timing have been withheld to protect the anonymity of the victim. At a trial earlier in 2025, Nosakhare was found guilty on two counts of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl and three counts of engaging in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl. These convictions highlight the severity of the betrayal, as described by investigating officers.

In addition to the custodial sentence, Nosakhare has been placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and issued with a restraining order to prevent further contact with the victim. The case was investigated by the Thames Valley Police Child Abuse Unit, with Detective Constable Bryn Smith leading the inquiry.

Detective Constable Bryn Smith commented: 'I want to commend the victim for her bravery throughout both the investigation and court proceedings. I hope that Elvis Nosakhare’s conviction and sentence gives her some sense of justice.' Smith further emphasised the importance of reporting such crimes, noting that victims would be supported by experienced officers.

This case underscores the dangers of online interactions and the need for vigilance in protecting vulnerable individuals, particularly children, from exploitation by those who infiltrate family circles under false pretences. The sentencing was reported by the Bucks Herald on 30th July 2025, drawing attention to the ongoing issue of child sexual abuse in the region.
