Offence Summary

Christian Johnson Lueking pleaded guilty to encouraging the showing of indecent images of children in an online chatroom that live-streamed the rape of a six-year-old boy.

Full Description

Christian Johnson Lueking, 36, from Raynes Park in London, has pleaded guilty to an offence linked to child sexual exploitation via an online chatroom.

In June 2017, Lueking admitted to one count of encouraging the showing of indecent images of children. This charge relates to his involvement in a dark web platform that live-streamed the rape of a six-year-old boy in the United States in July 2015. The National Crime Agency (NCA) investigation targeted users of the chatroom, identifying Lueking among four UK participants who engaged with the abusive content broadcast by US-based offender William Chandler Augusta.

Lueking's plea confirms his role in promoting or facilitating the distribution and viewing of the indecent material during the live event. The case is part of a multinational effort to dismantle networks enabling real-time child abuse.

  • Sentencing is set for 18 August 2017 at Kingston Crown Court.
  • No further details on additional charges were provided in the investigation summary.

The NCA highlighted how such platforms exploit vulnerable children, with prosecutions like Lueking's aimed at deterring participation in these criminal activities.
