Full Description

Lee Shocklidge, a 40-year-old man from Kettering, Northamptonshire, appeared at Norwich Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to a series of 25 child sex offences spanning three years from 2021 to 2024. The offences, committed in the Norwich area, involved at least 11 child victims who cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Among the charges to which Shocklidge entered guilty pleas were three counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity. He also admitted five counts of attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act and three offences of causing a child to watch a sexual act. In addition, Shocklidge pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children and three counts of distributing indecent images of children, with the material totalling 1,650 images, including 58 of the most serious category A.

The court ordered Shocklidge to undergo an assessment for dangerousness prior to his return for sentencing on 18 December 2024. He was remanded in custody following his appearance in October 2024.
